Sunday's Vitamin: 3 Brain tattoos!

Brain tattoos, are ideas that you strongly believe in, remind yourself with it continuously, so that they affect your daily choices & behavior.
This week, I want to share with you 3 valuable "brain tattoos" that are probably associated with high performance & exceptional results.
Brain Tattoo #1: No idea works unless you do the work.
The ideas or concepts you learn could be great, but you must start the process of acting & applying these ideas as soon as possible, to get the results you wish. Otherwise, it will just be a day dream that will be soon forgotten.
Brain Tattoo #2: All change is hard at first, messy in the middle, but great at the end.
Often, we start to install a new habit and then quickly stop on the first signs of discomfort.
But please remember that our growth and excellence is built around our discomfort, not our ease.
So, try to stick to your new habits or behaviors as much as you can for the first 66 days (based on the recent research at University of London). After this period, you've reached automaticity, and the new habit or behavior becomes automatic & easy.
حُفت النار بالشهوات وحُفت الجنة بالمكاره))
صدق رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم
Brain Tattoo #3: The finest way to get respect is to give respect.
Remember that if you treat people well, you'll give them a strong reason to treat you well too!

Sunday's Vitamin: Life changing sentences (2)

Last week we mentioned an interesting question that was posted on Quora.com:
"What are one or two sentences that someone has told you that changed your life?"
And we presented 7 selected answers from the hundreds that were posted by the readers.
But further this week, I selected 7 more answers for you:
1- "It isn't the burdens of today that drive men mad. It is the regret over yesterday and fear of tomorrow.”
2- "Everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something, and has lost something."
3- "Your mistakes will not define you... How you respond to them will."
4- "It's not about what you're going to do with your life in the future. It's about what you're doing with your life now."
5- "Hard work can beat talent, especially when talent doesn't work hard".
6- "Your life is precisely made up of every choice you make, everything you do, everything you think."
7- “One day when you are old, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it's worth watching.”

Sunday's Vitamin: Life changing sentences (1)

A very interesting question was posted on Quora.com (a social knowledge sharing site):
"What are one or two sentences that someone has told you that changed your life?"
The question was so stimulating that hundreds of people commented with their answers. And I have chosen the following 7 answers for you:
1- "What are you waiting for? Someone to discover you? Just do it yourself."
2- "Stop waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel, you've got to go and light it for yourself."
3- "What makes leadership & excellence is not being fearless, but experiencing your natural fear and doing what needs to be done anyway."
4- "Never compare your weaknesses to other people's strengths."
5- “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing! That’s why we recommend it daily!”
6- "The weak manager tells. The good manager explains. The superior manager demonstrates. The great manager inspires."
7- "Wake up, the exam starts in a minute."
Someone said that this sentence saved his term (it seems that one of his parents shouted it at him!).
