Sunday's vitamin: A simple idea to improve my results!

Simple motivational ideas... for a good start of your week
Many of us write daily To Do lists, including the tasks we need to accomplish through the day.
However, those who want to make a breakthrough in their lives have to write a Not To Do list!!
This Not To Do list includes the things in which I daily waste my time, and the mistakes I frequently make, reducing my results & accomplishments.
An example of a Not To Do list may include:
- Extra social networking, triggered by the instant notifications on my mobile.
- Wasting time in reading junk email.
- Long personal telephone calls during working hours.
- Extra talk-show watching.
- Forgetting to follow up on my sales orders or marketing requests.
- Postponing my tasks until their critical deadlines.
- Avoiding to visit profitable customers in some remote areas.
- ………
Write your personal Not To Do list on your mobile, to make it beside you all the time, and get committed to stop wasting your life & minimizing your achievements by doing these ugly things!
Steve Jobs (the founder of Apple) said that what made Apple Apple was not so much what they chose to build, but all the projects they chose to ignore!!

Sunday's vitamin: Can I make a daily improvement in my performance?

Simple motivational ideas... for a good start of your week
To grow & succeed in today's tough business environment, there is a great need to make a continuous & daily improvement in your knowledge & skills.

To guide yourself along this journey, you can simply ask yourself 4 smart questions at the end of each day:
1- What are the positive things I made today?
Successes, endured challenges, achievements, ….
2- What about the negative things?
Mistakes, failures, …
3- What did I learn today?
New information, ideas, skills, experiences, …
4- How can I act better tomorrow?
Build on the positives, correct the negatives, use what I've learnt, …

Before reviewing your bank accounts to answer this question, know that your true wealth (ثروتك) is composed of 7 accounts:
The 1st account, spiritual wealth:
Your personal satisfaction with life in general, & the strength of your relation with God.
The 2nd account, physical wealth:
Your body health & fitness.
The 3rd account, social wealth:
The quality of your relations with your family members & friends.
The 4th account, career wealth:
Your success & satisfaction with your job.
The 5th account, intellectual wealth:
Your knowledge, culture, the books you read & the arts you understand.
The 6th account, variety wealth:
The new experiences & the challenges you face in your life (in contrast to a routine monotonous life).
The 7th account, economic wealth:
That is the money, deposits & properties you own.

Sunday's vitamin: Why to set goals? And what are their benefits?

Simple motivational ideas... for a good start of your week
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
"ومن يرد ثواب الدنيا نؤته منها ومن يرد ثواب الآخرة نؤته منها وسنجزى الشاكرين"
صدق الله العظيم
Setting goals for your career & personal life gives you 5 great benefits:
1- Focus:
"Where your focus goes, your energy flows"
Goals help you direct your effort, time & resources into the directions that matters most for you, instead of being scattered in different directions.
2- Growth:
Goals help you take a step after step to create a better life & build a successful career. Without clear goals, you will just stay where you are.
3- Pro-activity:
"If you don’t act on life, life will act on you".
Goals push you to improve your conditions & find valuable opportunities to reach your dreams. Without goals, you are just waiting for the conditions to be better and for good chances to come to you.
4- Measurement:
Goals give you awareness about where you are now compared with your dreams. This makes you happy when you see yourself moving day after day towards what you want.
5- Inspiration:
When you have a vision of your life in the future, this motivates you to put more effort & to work hard until you reach what you dream with.
